Junior 1000 Rally Licence


To take part in a stage rally as a Junior driver aged 14 – 17 yrs you have to obtain an MSA National B Stage Rally Licence by completing the MSA BARS National Stage B Rally Licence Assessment and the Junior 1000 Rally Championship Licence Assessment.

These are generally taken on the same day.

Stage OneContact the Motor Sports Association to order your GoRallying Pack.
Contact the J1000 Club to confirm you will be applying for an MSA Rally Licence
Stage TwoCall 01280 705570 to book your Licence Assessment date
Stage ThreeLearn the sections of the MSA Blue Book explained in your licence pack
This will prepare you for both MSA BARS and J1000 written tests.
The Junior 1000 has a strong focus on knowledge of safety regulations.
Applicants will also need to study the J1000 technical regulations for the test.
Stage FourComplete the driving and written parts of the MSA BARS licence assessment.
Complete the driving and written parts of the J1000 licence assessment
Stage FiveReturn your signed form to the MSA for it to issue your rally licence to the J1000 Club
Stage SixComplete the required number of Autotests
Stage SevenEnter your first stage rally
