Bill Gwynne uses the metaphor of climbing a ladder to explain the process of learning rally driving techniques.
“Each step represents one of the infinite range of variables a rally driver has to learn
Every rally driver climbs the ladder of experience and they don’t stop climbing until they stop rallying. Every step is a piece of invaluable knowledge and the range of variable elements a rally driver needs to acquire knowledge of is considerable.
The key to acquiring as much knowledge of as many of these variables as possible is to complete each step fully, before moving on to the next step.”
“Really challenging course and world class instruction, brilliant!”
Mark Holenberg – London
Our ProRally Driver International courses totally immerse drivers into the world of rally driving. It’s just you, your OMP Racing Suit, your professionally prepared rally car, your MSA Licence Instructor and our demanding, testing rally special stages.
We tailor our instruction to the experience of each driver, so whether you’re already competing, or you’ve been bitten by the rally bug and want to jump right in at the deep end to feel like a ‘factory’ rally driver on your first day of rally driving, we’ve got everything you need to achieve your goals.
The ProRally Driver Courses are a very intensive and hugely rewarding driving and learning experience. They test driver’s concentration, ability to absorb instruction and ability to adapt their previous driving experience to rally driving techniques.
Your MSA Licensed Rally Driving Instructor will encourage and challenge you to exceed your rally driving expectations, to produce great power slides, powerful braking and the ideal rally line through nearly a thousand corners and dozens of handbrake turns.
He’ll really encourage you to explore your own limits, pushing you to go faster, turn in earlier, use power when you want to use the brakes and ultimately drive consistently faster stage times.
You’ll review in-car video after each driving session before receiving your detailed Driver’s Assessment at the end of the day.
You’ll leave feeling like a World Rally Champion!
